What to bring for a dive day in Karimunjawa

Before the day
A few small things make the dive day easier.
- Fill in the Dive Registration formWe send you a link after you book. It covers your details, equipment sizes and health questions. Please answer honestly, because it keeps you safe.
- Rest well the night beforeSleep, drink water and keep dinner light. It is better to skip alcohol the evening before you dive.
- Take seasickness tablets earlyIf you get seasick, take your tablet before the boat leaves, as directed on the package, and tell your guide.
Flying home? Most dive organizations recommend waiting at least 18 hours after your last dive before you fly. Many divers wait 24 hours to be safe. Tell us your flight time when you book and we will plan your last dive around it.
Packing questions
Do I need to bring my own dive gear?
No. We provide the dive equipment. If you have your own mask or dive computer you are welcome to use it. Just tell us when you fill in the Dive Registration form.
What should I wear on the boat?
Swimwear under light clothes works well, with a hat and sunscreen for the boat ride. Bring a towel and a change of dry clothes for after the dive.
Can I bring my own camera?
You are welcome to bring one. Ask your guide before taking it underwater so we can plan it with your dive. We also take underwater photos and videos for you, free of charge.
Where and when do we meet?
We meet at our dive shop in Karimunjawa town, normally around 08:45, for final preparation before heading to the boat. On dive days we pick you up for free from your accommodation in Karimunjawa town.
